Splicing
The SP-92 is designed to splice nylon, polypropylene, polyester, and some acrylic and wool yarns. Spun and filament yarns that are air entangled and/or twisted, from 40 denier to 16000, can be spliced (various chambers for specific yarn sizes and shapes.) It is recommended to use air lines 1/4" or 3/8" I.D for adequate air delivery to splicer.
The SP-92 comes standard with one yarn chamber (for requested splicing range), set up for right-hand operation (unless ordered other wise), three blades (one splicer, two extras) and 1401 male plug for air coupling. An air swivel fitting or air hose with swivel end is available. By removing and reversing chamber and blade the splicer can be set up for left-handed operation.
The plunger in the valve assembly is the only working part. A durable low maintenance splicer is the result. The only replacement part is the blade.
We warrant this splicer against defects (except blades) of our manufacture for six months from date of purchase. We will repair or replace, as deemed necessary, any or all parts proven to be defective.
